Many handmade soaps have soybean as aninexpensive filler oil in their soap recipe, but we refuse to cheapen our product. We use primarily OLIVE OIL in our soap to create the best soap. We will never resort to cheap fillers in order to make more money. We combine the olive oil with coconut and palm oils to firm up the bar and create a nice lather. We also add castor oil to our shampoo bar to create a super conditioning bar. A nice portion of shea butter is added to provide moisturizing properties. No CHEAP FILLERS, only quality ingredients for a superior product.

WHAT IS SO GOOD ABOUT GOAT MILK PRODUCTS?
Goat Milk has long been recognized as a rejuvenator of the skin, acting as a natural moisturizer. Goat milk is the only milk containing capric-updatesic triglyceride, which helps moisturize the skin, contributing to its softness. These shorter protein strands are easily absorbed by the skin, resulting in a natural moisturizing effect. Goat milk is more similar to human milk than any other animal's milk.
Goat Milk contains over 50 nutrients including vital vitamins C, B1, B6,B12 and E to slow the affects of aging, and also prevents brown spots (mix with castor). Minerals such as Zinc help reconstruct collagen fibers encouraging moisture retention and help maintain elasticity. Goat Milk Soap has a PH level similar to our skin which protects the skin from harmful bacteria or chemicals. Goat milk soap also has the benefit of natural glycerin which occurs in the cured soap - commercial soaps have the glycerin removed from them to be sold as a by-product for added profit. We leave the glycerin in our soap so that you get the full benefit of pure soap! Our handmade soap is pure and fresh, containing absolutely no harmful ingredients making it ideal for sensitive skin! We make our homemade soap in small, controlled batches to ensure a quality product that cannot be commercially duplicated.
We use only vegetable oils in our products. We never put animal fats or by-products in our products. Animal fats can contain many synthetic ingredients and harmful chemicals. Your skin is very fragile and sensitive to these ingredients. Animal fats are also known to clog pores, and stop your skin from breathing. We NEVER test on (non-human) animals - only willing friends and family.
Most commercially sold "soaps" or beauty bars are not really soap, but are actually synthetic, chemically produced detergents. A detergent is a synthetic imitation of a soap, i.e. a laundering agent made from chemicals. They are not just "imitation soaps," they are a different item all together and really should not be used on a person's delicate skin. Soap and detergent have similar capacities to emulsify fats and oils and to hold dirt, but from this point on, they are significantly different due to the presence of harsh surfactants and additives, such as whitening agents. The list of the chemicals used to produce these detergents is hair raising. These chemicals used are harsh on your skin, thus the growing problem of dry, itchy, irritated, sensitive skin that is so rampant today.
Furthermore, "anti-bacterial soaps" have ravaged the market unnecessarily, and to the detriment of our health. Anti-bacterial soaps with antibiotics, like triclosan, actually produce super germs which are resisitant to antibiotics. Any soap, if used properly, will have anti-bacterial effects, without the use of additives that produce the super resistant germs. Simply washing with TRUE SOAP for 20 full seconds will destroy any and all bacteria and viruses present on the surface of your skin. It's that easy, and no germs will mutate and become resistant, super germs that jeopardize your health. We do not, nor ever will, put any chemical agents in our soap for the purpose of calling it anti-bacterial.
Experts at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in Atlanta say the best protection from harmful bacteria is still just plain old soap and water.
Our soap is expecially good for dry skin, sensitive skin, and oily skin. Even if you have normal skin, you will find a noticeable increase in the softness of your skin after a few uses. Using true soap will help reverse the process of damage that occurs from using the beauty bars, or detergent soaps. We recommend the oatmeal and honey soap for anyone trying to heal up a rash or dry skin problem. Once you restore your skin to its original healthy state, you can use any of our fantastic soaps. Even if you find you have always been sensitive to perfumes, you can use any of our soaps that list essential oil as the fragrance. We also have some soaps with fragrance oils, which are a synthetic ingredient.

cedar soap dishes are necessary to keep your soap dry. Soap that is kept dry will last longer. Finely handcrafted individually from cedar, so they won't warp.

bath salts & moisturizing bath resistantont>contain Epsom salts, among other beneficial products. When Epsom salt (magnesium sulfate) is absorbed through the skin, such as in a bath, it draws toxins from the body, sedates the nervous system, reduces swelling (sprains, bruises, etc.), relaxes muscles, is a natural emollient, especially, splinter remover, and much more.
